Letting the light into your soul can be as
simple as taking a little bit of time to gaze at a beautiful sunrise or sunset,
or to do some star gazing. The wonders of nature capture one's attention,
temporarily refocusing the mind to the awesomeness surrounding oneself. The
beauty of nature can be a powerful tool for aiding in calming nervous or
negative chatter of the mind. When we lose ourselves in the moment, we cannot
focus on worrying about the future or bemoaning the past. The more we focus
on the present, the more we gradually will have the ability to calm our mind
from the negative inner voice, and from getting stuck in worrying about matters
beyond our control. We will find that we can move toward inner tranquility and
peace through the power of meditation and positive reflection. The glow of
sunshine, the warmth of the sun's rays, and the shimmer of starlight are feasts
for the eyes and the soul, riveting our senses and calming our minds with the
power of the beauty of nature, and of being truly in the moment.
