I may not be perfect, but I try my best. I may not have all the answers, but I think about what makes sense to me. I do my best to make sense out of a world that can at times be perplexing. I cannot ever hope to be a perfect specimen of some kind. I am human, after all. As a human being, I am by definition flawed. But my flaws make me special. I am unique, as each human being on this earth is unique. We are not here on earth to be perfect. Perfection is not an option. We are here to be who we are, that unique individual that makes this world more special by contributing what it is that we have to offer. It is when we get caught up in pressure, from ourselves or others, to be someone we are not, that we can feel bad about who we truly are. I will make a commitment to remind myself that I am wonderful as I truly am.
